What is Time To House?

Time To House is a magazine about house music and everything that moves around it, made by people who love this music and live for the dancefloor. We cover the records, the artists, the clubs, the gear, and the science of why a room full of strangers can move as one body. We also follow the money and the power that shape the scene, the stories it talks about in private but rarely sees in print.

Why does house deserve its own magazine?

Because house built a global culture out of records the wider press once overlooked, and a culture that large deserves to be reported with care. We read the sources, check the dates, cross-reference the claims, and then write the story in our own words, with a point of view we are willing to defend. House has always rewarded people who listen closely. So do we.

What will Time To House cover?

News when it breaks. History when it matters. Then the whole world house lives in: deep, tech, afro, organic, minimal, deep-tech, and a techno section, from Chicago and Detroit, to Berlin, London, Lagos and São Paulo. Releases and interviews. Gear and DJ technique. The business of it: label deals, touring economics, the platforms and the politics. And the human stories, the joyful ones and the difficult ones alike.

Sourced. Dated. Cross-checked. The way the scene deserves to be covered.

How does Time To House work?

Quality first, we share what we believe matters. Everything we run names its sources and its date. We publish in six languages from the first day, because house was never an English-only culture. When we get something wrong, we correct it. When a story does not hold up, we leave it out.
