The Ibiza institution opened Pacha New York in June, taking over the East Williamsburg complex that was the Brooklyn Mirage, dark for nearly two years after its spectacular collapse.
Pacha takes over the demolished Brooklyn Mirage at 140 Stewart Ave, opening with a Rampa-curated weekend on June 13 and 14 before Michael Bibi and Black Coffee headline the official launch on June 20 and 21.
Pacha New York won a temporary liquor licence on 30 May, surrendered Avant Gardner’s permit, and pledged $27m over a decade to safety and community as it targets a 13 June opening at the former Brooklyn Mirage.
Beatport quietly ran a sale process in 2025, did not get the deal it wanted, and has now moved its CEO upstairs, promoted a new chief, and leaned into car-park raves instead.
Avant Gardner's $155m bankruptcy ended with the 32,000 sq ft Mirage demolished by March 2026 and Pacha New York, owned by Dubai's FIVE Holdings, holding the lease on the empty lot.
