What exactly is Hot Creations bringing back?
Hot Creations, the tech house label Jamie Jones and Lee Foss started in 2010, is running a fully renovated Bora Bora at Playa Soleil in Playa d'en Bossa for three more Friday dates this summer: August 7, September 4 and September 25. The format is the label's signature move, pairing a veteran name with someone earlier in their career on the same lineup rather than stacking headliners on top of each other. Every ticket also covers an After Hours extension at Playa Soleil, kicking off at 11pm once the daytime party wraps.
Who's actually playing?
The three dates split the lineup across the label's roster. wAFF headlines August 7, Dusky and Richy Ahmed close out September 4, and Patrick Topping plays back to back with Miguel Campbell on September 25, with Lee Foss also on the bill. It is the kind of lineup Hot Creations has built its reputation on for over a decade: house music people who came up through the label rather than festival-circuit names parachuted in for the season.
Why does a renovated Bora Bora matter right now?
Bora Bora has been one of Playa d'en Bossa's defining beach party names since the early 1980s, and Playa Soleil's rebuild keeps that identity while updating the venue itself. That matters beyond nostalgia. Ibiza's Consell has kept the island's nightclub licensing process (PIAT) frozen to new venues for years now, even as unregulated beach clubs and villa parties have kept multiplying outside that system. A licensed, established brand choosing to renovate and reinvest in an existing daytime venue, rather than chase a workaround, is the opposite of where a lot of that unlicensed growth is happening.
Hot Creations still runs on the same idea it launched with in 2010: put people who can actually DJ next to each other and let the room do the rest.
